From 2.1.2012 until 14.2.2012 we are not offering any breakfast service. Because of this we will discount 2.50 EUR for each person accommodated in a room what normally includes breakfast.

By car

From the south - A, H (D1) >>
Coming from the south, keep the direction Brno. Having crossed Most Lafranconi (the Lafranconi bridge), take the exit – Mlynská dolnia and turn left – direction Devín, Karlova Ves. Continue on the main road, along the tramway. Cross the tramway aprox. 100 m behind the Shell petrol station (on your right) and get to the opposite direction. Keep going the same way as you have come, after petrol station Agip turn right first possible. You will see the Paddler Hostel ** in 50 m.

From the north - CZ (D2)>>
Coming from the north, leave the highway as you pass the Sitina tunnel, exit direction Devín, Karlova Ves. Keep going straight, turn right on the second traffic lights. Continue on the main road, along the tramway. Cross the tramway aprox. 100 m behind the Shell petrol station and get to the opposite direction. Keep going the same way as you have come, after petrol station Agip turn right first possible. You will see the Paddler Hostel ** in 50 m.

Public city transport
Public transport ticket must be purchased prior of entering bus or tram. Ticket machines are on most bus stops.

Take off at stop "Botanická záhrada" (Botanic garden)
- there is passenger bridge above tram and bus stops, walk to the side of botanic garden (south end, oriented more downhill)
- keep walking along the road, there will be OMV petrol station and two high-rise buildings Družba on your left,
- there is a parking space behind the second high-rise building. Turn left behind the parking space and keep walking down the downhill road
- after about 70 m you can see Paddler Hostel** yellow building. Enter the gate and walk few more meters to ring the bell and say "Hi I'm here ;)"

Enjoy Breakfast Buffé (buffet table) and delicious italian coffee Musetti on our sun deck in Karloveské rameno. Usual hostel breakfast service is now open for our club & cafe guests too.

Strating 18.7.2011
Breakfast daily fr. 7:15 until 10:30, Sunday fr. 8:30 until 11:00.

We serve coffee, tea, milk, juices, nonalkoholic beverages, ham or salami, cheese, eggs, fruits, jams, musli, corn flakes, yogurt, bread, rolls, cookies. On demand we are able to offer frankfurter, sausage, toasts, scrambled eggs and some more.

Price per two persons is 19,90 EUR, any extra person is 9,90 EUR. We take maximum of 4 persons per tour.

We have more than 90% successful observations where you meet real beaver.

You should bring outdoor clothes suitable for lay down into a grass or sand.

Paddling playgroup for young and juniors

For all kids and juniors who like to enjoy kayak and canoe.

We keep recreational level.

Dates: July and August - every Tuesday at 15.00 until 17.30

Bring with you some dress suitable for water like t-shirt, cap, shorts, sport shoes.
Spare dry clothes to get home, towel.
Dress suitably in bad weather.

We provide kayaks and canoes, life jackets, equipment.

Suitable age from 8 years.

Price 5 EUR per person and visit, including something sweet and some drink.

Initial visit with parent is mandatory. You can join us anytime.

Paddler Hostel**
Reception, reservations and accommodation

Usually, our reception services are available from 8 a.m. till 10 p.m. every day. Operation time can be subject of change without a previuos notice.

Our reception is shared with cafe and office operation times. Late night Check-In is possible, you should notify us in advance so we know your late arrival time.

The Club Cafe and pleasant sundeck relax space

Open according to the weather conditions
During the labour day usually from 4 p.m., weekends and holidays usually from 1 p.m. We close usually at about 9 p.m., in nice evenings we keep open longer according to atmosphere of that night.

Hours are not fixed and not binding.

Club hours for private groups can be subject of agreement.

Cafe Club is open for public, guests are obliged to respect our Club rules.

Rent a Boat
Kayak and canoe rental, courses and river tours in Karloveská zátoka and surroundings.

Open all year round according to the weather conditions. We recommend to book the rental equipment or instructor in advance by telephone. Usually we have always some boat available, if you are coming without any booking you may wait a bit to your favourite boat in case it will be occupied.

Kayak & Canoe & Accessories Club retail.

It is possible to visit us any day and almost any time, we prefer you set an appointment time a little bit in advance, a phone call prior you come is warmly welcome. On your visit without prior notice please do tolerate we may be busy with some other activity or guest and you may be waiting a little bit.

Since 2011 we did cancel our regular opening hours - the reason is very simple, we do multiple activity now and we do not want to be only a regular shop, we would like to be more relaxed the way paddling relaxed is.

Paddler Office
Emails are processed on the fly usually at least once per day.

Phone calls are attended within limits. Please respect it is not allways possible to get through with your call, there is a possiblity we are on the water or taking care to our guests. In case you can't success your phone call for a firts time, please try it later or send an email.

Please set an appointment to any personal meetings.

Siesta Time ;)
Please tolerate we may slow down at siesta time (lunch break) between 12.00 and 15.00

From 3.90 EUR per person. Price does not include bedsheets or breakfast, extra price for breakfast is 3 EUR.

Time limited prices are valid for bookings made from 16. May 2011 until further notice. Time limited prices are valid for any date from 16. May 2011 to 22. December 2011. For acceptance of time limited price we may require you to pay a deposit or full amount in advance.

How far is from us to...

City centre is 6 minutes by tram (4 stops to stop named "Nový most"), 4 minutes by car, up to 10 minutes by bike and about half and hour by walk along renewed rivershore.

WM Hockey arena is only 21 minutes by direct tram no. 4 (stop name "Odbojárov-Orange arena"), for walk from tram to stadium you need less than 5 minutes.
Your hockey ticket is valid for city public transport at the day of your ticket game for regular and special enforcement lines from and to Orange Arena.

Nearest public transport stop is about 3 minutes to walk.

Bankomat and bank is about 3 minutes to walk, bank name "Tatra banka".

Supermarket Lidl is about 5 minut to walk, Billa about 10 minutes.

Main train station is only 15 minutes bus ride, you need easy 25 minutes from our door to the trains.
